Novelty

A web application designed for creative writers, such as those writing a novel, poetry or screenplay. As you write, Novelty can visualize your writing data (e.g. the word count, mood of the writing) into abstract artworks, and incorporates sound effects as you type. By combining these features, Novelty seeks to inspire creativity and combat writer's block.

The application features two main components: a text editor and a notebook. The text editor offers dynamic backgrounds, data visualizations, and music to create an immersive writing environment. Meanwhile, the notebook allows writers to organize their ideas, characters, and plot elements. Novelty provides an organized and gamified alternative to other word processors.
